IRDA stands for Insurance Regulatory Development Authority.

To become an insurance agent the minimum qualification required is 10+2.

Before joining as an insurance agent one needs to go through 100 hours of classroom training by the respective insurance company.

On successfully completing the training one gets to appear for the examination which is conducted by the IRDA.

While appearing for this exam your age should not be less than 18 years.

Generally MCQ type of questions comes in the written exam and questions are generally related to insurance, loans or regulations and their general applications. Basic numerical questions also comes.
