SBI Clerk exam has 5 sections of General Awareness,Quantitative Aptitude,Reasoning Ability,General English and Marketing/Computer.
Syllabus: General Awareness-40 marks-40 questions Quantitative Aptitude-40 marks-40 questions Reasoning Ability-40 marks-40 questions General English-40 marks-40 questions Marketing/Computer Knowledge-40 marks-40 questions Total Number of questions-200 Total Marks-200 Negative Marks-0.25 Candidates have to qualify in Written exam,in order to get call for interview.SBI will set Cut off Marks 2012 for Clerk exam later.It will be depends competition and their marks in each sections. Education qualifications Required: 1.Candidate must have 10+2 with 60% of marks for general candidates 2.55% of marks enough in 10+2 for SC/ST Candidates 3.or Any degree with pass marks from any recognized university 4.Diploma Candidates(Regular) also eligible for this job Age Limit for SBI Clerk Exam 2012 1.Candidate must have at least 18 years for general candidates as on 01-12-2011 2. ![]() ![]() SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria: ~To sit for this examination you need to have minimum 60 percent of marks at 10+2 level. ~Diploma candidates are also eligible since a diploma course is equivalent to that of class 12. The course should be a regular one whose duration is not less than two years. ~If you are a bachelor's degree holder then also you can give this exam. For that you have to get the pass marks. ~Final year candidates who will be appearing for the exam or awaiting the result of their final exam are also eligible. ~The age criteria varies from one category to the other. While giving this exam your age should not be less than 18 years. The upper age limit for the general category candidate is 28 years. ~There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates gets an age relaxation of 5 years, OBC candidates gets a relaxation of 3 years and physically handicapped candidates a relaxation of 10 years. ~Selection Procedure includes:
~The written test is basically objective type and for this examination you need to stress on the following sections:
~For every wrong answer you will be awarded a penalty. 0.25 marks will be deducted from your original score. So be very cautious when answering the questions and do not rely too much on wild guess. ~If you pass in the written examination then you will be called for the personal interview session depending on the vacancies available. ![]() SBI conduct the bank exam their own basis for po and clerk.
For po, candidate should be graduate with 55% in any stream from recognise university. Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year for open category. For Clerk, General candidate must 12th pass with 60% marks. 55% marks in 12th for sc/st or Any degree with pass marks from any recognized university Age should be between 18 to 28 years for general candidates. relaxation in upper age for reserve candidate.
