NET stands for national Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed Masters degree with above 55% marks are applicable for NET exam.Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST/PH category.

For NET exam there is no Age criteria.Only for JRF , your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

You have not mention your stream so i have attached the various type of Question Paper for net exam.

University Grants Commission UGC holds the National Eligibility Test (NET)
There are 3 papers of NET and all are Objective type, There is No descriptive paper, All the 3 papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions.

Previous Year Papers of UGC NET Exam

The NET (National Eligibility Test) is conducted twice every year by the UGC (University Grants Commission) in the months of June and December..

The tentative date for the next exam is 26th June,2012..

For appearing in the UGC NET Exam.. a candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidate must have completed his post graduation in any stream from a recognized University with an aggregate of 55% or above (50% for the reserved categories)

2) Although there is no upper age limit for the lectureship but if you wish to join the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then you must be less than 28 years of age as seen on the first date of the month of the exam..

Since you haven't mentioned your stream for which you are going to appear in the exam so i have attached papers of various streams along with this post for your reference..

Go through these papers and i hope they will help you out in your preparations..

Observe the pattern and the level of the questions asked in these papers..
