NET Psychology (Paper II) Papers
Psychology is one of the subjects in the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC every year. The University Grants Commission is entrusted with the task of holding the National Eligibility Test twice every year. UGC conducts the test in Humanities and some of the science subjects. For other science subjects, UGC conducts the test with the collaboration of CSIR. The test is known as CSIR-UGC NET. There are two papers on Psychology in NET. The pattern of the exam is given here.
Paper II of Psychology consists of multiple choice type questions. The questions have four options and only one of them is correct. The number of questions in the exam is 50, with each question carrying 2 marks. So the total of the marks is 100. For these 100 marks the time given is 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Students have to mark only one answer in the OMR sheet provided. More than one answer is treated as wrong answers. There is no negative marking in the test. So students have to answer all the questions. The questions are assertion reason types and true/false type, apart from being the straightforward questions.
