Re: Question related to eligibility criteria for appearing in CDS and AFCAT exams?
CDS is Combined Defence Service and AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. The examination is conducted by UPSC and Air Force respectively.
The candidates after qualifying in the examination are eligible for selection in service as an officer. The minimum required educational qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. Candidate must be physically fit and qualify in written as well as SSB for final recruitment. There is no B.Sc Nautical science course for Merchant Navy officer. |
