Sir, i am ajit das completed my graduation course with physics and chemistry but not math as compulsory subject. And i am interested to join indian air force. So plz help me sir

Maths is not compulsory during graduation to apply for CDSE or AFCAT, but Maths must be as a compulsory subject in (10+2) to apply for CDSE for Air Force and AFCAT for Technical as well as Flying branch.If you want to apply AFCAT for Air Force ground duty , then any graduates with any discipline can apply for Air Force.

CDSE Examination

CDSE Eligibility
- You must have passed bachelor degree with PCM as a main subjects for Air Force branch.
- Age must be 19 to 23 years on the 1st January of the examination year.

- Start Registration Online : 07/11/2015
- Last Date to Apply : 04/12/2015
- CDSE Exam : 14/02/2016

AFCAT Examination

AFCAT Eligibility
- You must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline for Ground Duty.For Flying & Technical Branch in Air Force , You must have passed with Physics & Maths as a compulsory subjects.
- Age must be between 18 to 28 years for Technical Branch , 19 to 23 years for Flying Branch and 20 to 23 years for Ground Duty on 1st July of the examination year.

Important Dates
- Start Online Registration : 27 June , 2015
- Last Date to Apply : 23 July , 2015
- AFCAT Exam : 13 September , 2015

# Of course, you are cent percent eligible to appear for Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination.

# Candidate who have not studied the subject Mathematics in intermediate or graduation level are eligible for CDS Examination. In short, candidate with non-mathematics background are also allowed to apply for Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination.

# Required educational qualification:

* Must be graduate in any discipline/stream/subject from recognized university.
* Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

# Available different academies of defence forces to join through Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination are:

* Officer Training Academy (OTA)
* Indian Military Academy (IMA)
* Air Force Academy (AFA)
* Naval Academy (NA)

# Required age limit:

* Minimum age must be 19 years for all academies.
* Maximum age fixed for Officer Training Academy (OTA) is 25 years.
* Maximum age fixed for Indian Military Academy (IMA) is 24 years.
* Maximum age fixed for Air Force Academy (AFA) is 23 years.
* Maximum age fixed for Naval Academy (NA) is 22 years.

# Required additional conditions for CDS Examination are:

* Citizen of India.
* Must be unmarried.
* Must be male candidate except for Officer Training Academy (OTA).
* Must not have any criminal or police record.
* Must be physically and medically fit in all respect.
* Must not suffered from any serious or critical disease.
* Must have vision of 6/6 (for good eye) and 6/9 (for bad eye).
* Must not have any bodily defect or abnormality.

# Stages involved in the Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination:

* Objective Type Written Test
* Personal Interview by SSB
* Physical & Medical Examination

# Please note that candidates who are possessing the NCC ‘C’ Certificate are fully exempted from first stage of Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination i.e. Objective Type Written Test. Such candidates are directly invited for the second stage of CDS Examination i.e. Personal Interview by SSB.

You have completed B.Sc with Physics and Chemistry so you are eligible for Indian Air Force through CDS exam,

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian Air force academy: You should have completed engineering graduation or B.Sc with physics, mathematics from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

Air Force Academy: - 19 to 23 years

I dont have pcm in 12 class and i complete gradution in BCZ i interested in airforce so can i apply

Candidate with PCM as their subjects and Bachelor of engineering can apply for the Indian Air Force, Indian navy through CDS, while for Indian Army any candidate can apply who is a graduate. Thus, one should have maths as their subjects for CDS and AFCAT for Indian Air Force.

Yes, you can apply for AFCAT exam but only for Ground Duty posts. For Flying branch, Maths and Physics in 12th are necessary because these are the essential subjects required with minimum of 60% of marks in both subjects.
AFCAT exam is conducted twice in a year for those candidates who are interested in joining Air Force.
The minimum educational qualification required is graduation.
For Ground Duty, graduation in any stream is applicable
For Flying branch, you must have science stream in 12th with atleast 60% in physics and mathematics and science in graduation.

Am I eligiy for afcat non technical job , if didn't have maths in 12th?

Can I give cdse if in class 12th maths was not my compulsory subject ?
