Hello Nischit,
For Indian Administrative Service, you will have to write Civil Service Examination, conducted every year by Union public service Commission. You must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to write the exam: 1. You must be a graduate 2. You must be within the age limit of 21-30 years. Maximum age limit for SC/ST candidate is 35 years and for OBC candidates, it's 33 years. The examination comprise of two written examination, and have to qualify both to get selected for the Interview. For further information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC. This is one of the Indian Civil Services.
Coming to eligibility, the basic eligibility is:- 1. Citizen of India 2. Valid degree holder from any recognized University 3. Age must be 21-30 as on the 1st of August of the year of exam. There are no marks criteria as such, you need to clear three phases of testing to get selected finally. For details, refer to the attachment. |

You just need to have a graduation degree from a recognized university without any constraint on percentage.
Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination. All candidates who qualify to appear for the Civil Services Main Exam must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination. |

It does not really matters which stream you belong to as they just look for graduates in any discipline from a recognized university.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION every year for IAS/IPS/IFS/IES/IRS etc. So there is no specific exam as IAS exam.
To become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam in any discipline of education or pass from any recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidate. The selection is through three phases:- CSAT - CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST - PRELIMINARY EXAM comprises of objective type questions. After successfully getting through CSAT exam, the candidate is eligible to appear for the second phase of selection. CIVIL SERVICE MAIN EXAM comprises of subjective type questions from the prescribed syllabus. The Qualification required for appearing in the IAS exam is a graduation degree in any field. If you have the graduation degree than you are eligible for the IAS exam. There is no percentage requirement.
Other requirements include that the appearing candidate should be Indian and must be at least 21 years old. Thanks. |

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IAS exam. Those candiadte have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam. But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate. In IAS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candiadte is 3years and for SC/ST candiadte is 5 years. |

IAS Exam Eligibility;- 1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university 2-There is no percentage requirement 3-Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible. Age limits;- General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students. Age relaxation;- 3 years age relaxation for OBC category 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category 10 years for PH candidates Number of Attempts;- 4 times for General category Candidates 7 times for OBC candidates No limit for SC/ST category All the best.................. |

Hai, you want to know about IAS exams. IAS means Indian Administration Services . The eligibility to appear IAS exam.
1.Candidate should be citizen of India for appearing IAS or IPS exam. 2.Age of the candidate should be greater than 21 years and not exceeds more than 30 years. There is 5 years relaxations for SC/ST and 3 years for O-BC candidates. 3.Candidate should have a bachelor degree. |
