What are the requirements to become a Sub-Inspector in Sikkim Police? I have completed Diploma in Mechatronics. Am I eligible? If not, then what should I do further to become eligible? And, what is the application procedure? Do I have to go through any entrance?

The list of criteria are as follows
Candidate should be of 18 years and should not exceed above 25 years on the current year
There is some relaxation for the reserved category 4 years for sc/st and 3 years for OBC candidate
Candidate should have at least completed graduation
Minimum height 5 feet 3 inches
Chest 32
Weight 50kg
For the following you can join direct into 2 year of the degree course and complete it so you will be eligible

Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Age limit:

Candidate age must lie between 18 to 25 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.
