I have eye sight....can i eligible for sub inspector of police?could you please tell me about physical requirements?

4. STANDARD OF PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT
a.HEIGHT: Minimum 170 cms.
Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunanchal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K (Candidates claiming this relaxation would have to produce a certificate to this effect (Hill area certificate) from the competent authority i.e. DC/DM/SDM or Tehsildar of their place of residence at the time of Physical Measurement Test)
Note: A candidate whose height is 178 cms. or more shall be given 3 bonus marks, to be added in the total marks while determining the merit list.
b.CHEST: Minimum 81 cms to 85 cms.
(The candidate is required to have minimum 81 cms chest in an unexpanded state and with expansion it should be minimum 85 cms. For all candidates minimum expansion has to be 4 cms., failing which he will be disqualified). Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas for which certificates as above will be produced.
5. MEDICAL STANDARD

The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.

For the post of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector:

The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.

1) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision for the post of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector.

2) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

To become a sub-inspectors police you have to appear in combined gradute level exam , which is conducted by SSC every year..

You wanted to know the physical requirement to become a sub-inspector..

I have mentioned the requirements below:--------------

>>(a) Height
For men - 165 cms.
For women - 150 cms.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5 cms.
>>(b) Chest:
76 cms. with expansion (there shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
>>(c) Vision:
Eye-sight (with or without glasses):
Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

The physical measurements (including vision test) for candidates will be conducted by the indenting Department (Central Bureau of Investigation) after their names are recommended for appointment by the Commission.

Only those candidates who fulfill the above specified physical measurements (including vision test) will be eligible for the post of Sub-Inspector in CBI.

for si job there are some physical tests are there they are like,5km run and long jump, high jump,short put, 800 mrs run and 100mrs run for boys only.
