You have not specified what your educational qualification is. The minimum qualification is a post graduation in any discipline. You need to secure at least 50% of marks in the post graduation level. You need to do your PG from a recognized and reputed university or college. You need to also have a B.Ed degree in the same subject area. The minimum eligibility for applying for B.Ed is a graduation degree.

PGT exam is conducted for teaching in government schools.

PGT is conducted state level and national level.

National Level exam is conducted by -

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti

Eligibility criteria for PGT -

Post graduation with 50% marks.

Should have B.Ed degree also.

Age limit upto 40 years.

Exam Pattern -

Exam is conducted in 3 stages -

1. Aptitude Test

2- Main exam

3- Interview.
