what are the requirements & syllabus for RTO exam?

. This exam is specifically for the residents of the state. It is important that the candidate be fluent in the Marathi language. Preference is given to Maharashtrians. Also it is important that the candidates have the license for all types of vehicles. As part of the test you will need to appear for compulsory subjects which include Marathi and English and also General Studies. There is an option to choose between Computer Science and also Mechanical Engineering. So you can choose Mechanical Engineering as a subject. The notification for same will be released whenever there is a vacancy. You can however start preparations for the same.


Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts the RTO exam. The eligibility criterion to apply for the test is a pass in the matriculation. In addition, you should be licensed for riding Motor Cycle, Driving light weight and Heavy weight vehicles. You should also know to read, write and speak Marathi. MPSC carries out the test as per the requirements of RTO officers in various Government agencies that come under MPSC.
