SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria: ~To sit for the SBI Clerk Exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate with not less than 60% of marks at 10+2 level. ~If you are a diploma degree holder then also you can apply for this exam. The degree should be a regular one whose duration is not less than two years and should have been acquired from a recognized institution. The percentage to secure in this case too is same as above. ~You can also complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university and then apply. Since the minimum percentage to obtain have not been mentioned therefore on getting the pass marks only you can apply. ~Your age should not be less than 18 years as that is the lower age limit binding on all categories. The upper age limit is 30 years for general category candidates. ~There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years for the physically handicapped candidates. ~Selection Procedure for the exam basically includes: 1) Written Examination 2) Personal Interview Session ~The written exam is basically an objective type test where questions will be of 12th standard. Each right answer carries one mark. But there is negative marking too. For every wrong answer 1/4th marks will be deducted from your original score.
