SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum qualification required to apply for this exam is that you need to complete your higher secondary examination first.

For general category students the percentage to secure is 60 percent. Whereas for the SC/ST candidates it is 55 percent of marks.

If you have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university then that will also do. Pass marks at graduation level will be more than enough.

Apart from this regular diploma holder can also apply for this exam since it is equivalent to class 12. But those who have done their studies in correspondence are not eligible.

The minimum age criteria for this exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.

There is age relaxation of upto 5 years for the SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years for the OBC candidates.



Question paper will be set in both hindi or english which means you will get the freedom to decide the language in which you want to give the examination.

There is negative marking too so dont rely on your instincts too much and think carefully before choosing any answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer so for for every four wrong answer you will get a penalty of one marks which can prove to be very costly given the fact that every year so many candidates applies for this exam.
