Chartered Accountancy is a professional course which deals in accounting and its related fields and students having interest and a sound background in Accounting should only opt for it.
The course however, can be pursued by students from any stream but it should not be opted by those with little or average understanding of accounting and the sub-fields.
So, if you think you can give it a try, you should go for it and in order to pursue the course, you will have to qualify common proficiency test conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a mandatory entrance test for students willing to pursue the course.Students who scores a minimum of 50% marks in this test are only eligible to pursue the course.
Qualifying the test will enable you to register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course which will be followed by the Final Course, Articleship Training, Computer Training and General Management course.

If you are interested, you can certainly apply for CA course after completing 12th class. You should register for CA course after completing 10th class. CA course involves 3 different levels. CPT is the entry level exam which you can appear after completing 12th class. If you qualify in CPT, you can apply for the second level which is IPCC. The final course in CA can be attended only after qualifying IPCC.

OF COURSE, AFTER 12TH YOU CAN JOIN C.A. OF ANY RECONGIZED IN BOARD.
C.A STANDS FOR CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT.IF YOU HAVE IN INTERESTED IN ACCOUNTANT SUBJECT.
IF YOU HAVE GETTING 60% IN 12TH EXAM AND JOIN THESE COURSE
BUT GIVEN SOME AGE RELAXTION IN PARTICULAR GENDER.
FOR GETTING ADMISSION YOU HAVE GIVEN C.P.T EXAM, AND THAN AFTER YOU HAVE PASSED INTERMIDIRIES AND THAN FINAL LEVEL OF THE EXAM.
