Myself Rajlaxmi .. I have one query that i have registered for the CPT test exam for 2011 due to some personal problem i didnt cleared the cpt exam should i register for the exam again

The registration for CPT course remains valid for 3 years from the date of registration.

Till the validity period you are not at all required to re-register to re-appear the exam.

You just need to apply for the exam which you wish to appear.

e.g. You can surely apply for coming CPT June 2012 examination.

The last date to apply for the CPT 2012 examination is 25th April 2012.

The application form and information brochure of the CPT June 2012 examination
can be obtained from ICAI head office/regional offices till 4th April 2012.

Kindly refer the attachment for notification of CPT June 2012 examination.

gauri pillai, There is no need to register again for CA-CPT exam. Because its registration is valid for 3 years. So to appear in exam you just have to register for CPT exam.

In the CA CPT main examinations in Paper Pencil mode, the candidates are provided with an OCMR sheet along with the question paper wherein the answers have to be marked. These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first sunday of the months of June and December.

Paper Pattern

Marks:- 200
Two Sections - Two hours - 100 Marks

Section A:- Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Section B: Mercantile Law ( 40 Marks )
Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )

No , once you have registered then it is valid up to your last final exam.
if you have not cleared CPT exam then don't worry you have to only fill up the form for exam not required for registration .

sir... i have been registered for cpt 2008....but i lost me registration no. so again i have paid 6100 rs on 28th july 2012...but yet not received my registration no. ....... is re registration possible or my registration application will reject?
