sir, can u please guide me how to become an IPS officer?

The first step you need to do is complete your graduation. Also your age should be over 21 years and not more than 30 years. You need to prepare for the two levels of the exam. The first is the CSAT exam which is basically an aptitude oriented test. If you are able to clear this level then you will need to clear the mains exam next. You can select any of the subjects mentioned in the UPSC site for the same. You can download the past papers to know the pattern of exam.

If your aim is to become IPS Officer In Future then you have to cracked the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

>> So, If you are Graduate candidates, then You are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination, Because graduation is the minimum Eligiblity to apply for this examination.

>> So, If you Have Completed your Graduation OR Pursuing your Graduation degree course, then you are eligible to apply for this examination. But to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination, Your age should between 21 to 30 years, The Upper age relaxation is not applicable for General candidates, Its only applicable for SC, ST, OBC and other reserved category candidates.

>> There is no minimum Percentage eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Civil services examination, If you are Graduate from recognised University, then you are eligible for this examination.

The examination was Divided into Two Stages - Preliminary examination and Main examination. Preliminary examination are also Known as CSAT (Civil services aptitude Test). There are two papers in this examination and both are objective and both are of same Marks and Duration.

>> So, Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination, And Then you are eligible for Main examination. The Notification of this examination was Published in the employment newspaper in the month of February every year.

Eligibility criteria for IPS entrance exam are as follows :-
1]A candidate should be graduate from any stream from recognized university.
2] A candidate should be passed his graduation with minimum 50 % .
3]A candidate should be citizen of India .
4]Age limit between 21 to 30 years for open category.
5] For OBC candidate age relaxation is of 3 years .
6]For SC/ST candidate age relaxation is of 5 years .
7]A candidate should be citizen of India.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candiadte have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candiadte is 3years and for SC/ST candiadte is 5 years.

Also you must be citizen of india.

* The upper age limit is-
General - 30 years
SC/ST - 35 years
OBC - 33 years

The Civil Service Exams are conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) in every year.

Eligibility Criteria for IPS:-

**Educational qualification is Graduation in any stream from any recognized university.
**There is NO minimum percentage is required.

**for BC 21 to 33years.
