IES consists of subjects like

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

So which subject papers you are expecting from us please specify your query properly!!

For time being i am attaching GENERAL ability paper which is common for all branches since you didnot specify the subject we cannot guess the paper for you!!

Hiiiiii,

IES (Indian Engineering Service) Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Solutions to previous years IES papers are not available with me.

But I know the syllabus / exam pattern of IES (Indian Engineering Service) are as follows: -

The IES examination is conducted in two parts i.e.

1. Written Tests = Consisting of 5 papers of 200 marks each.

Paper - I = General Ability includes General English, General Studies, Indian History, Geography. [Objective Type]

Paper - II & III = It includes relevant questions from engineering stream.
[Objective Type]

Paper - IV & V = It includes relevant questions from engineering stream. [Subjective Type]

2. Personality Test = Interview

that is by sending a request to some book publishers they will send you a hard copy of previous years questions and answers

and other is online method

Some books that u can refer are:

1.Hayt upto Maxwell Equations, and Jordan & Ballman after Maxwells Equations.

2.Chakrabarthi book for Theorems

3.AK Sawhney for Electrical Measurements

4.Nagrath and Gopal for Theory and Nagoorkani for problems.

5.Ps Bimbra for electrical machines
