Yes, you can . Students who have completed their class 10 from CBSE , RBSE or West Bengal or any other recognized education board and wish to pursue a career as a police officer are also eligible for police jobs. They can opt for any stream- Science, Commerce and Humanities in their 10+2.

Aspirants who have done 12th or graduate degree in any stream from a recognized university can go in police department.

For Police Department ,you must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university or Minimum qualification 12th passed so you can go in Police Department.

Yes, why not, students with Bachelor of Commerce degree can get jobs in government police department of state as well as central governments.

B.Com candidates can apply for following exam with bachelor's degree for jobs in police department:

>>State Police examinations for Sub Inspector, Constable etc.

>>SSC CPO exam for various forces.

>>Delhi Police exams.

>>Civil Services examination for Indian Police Services.

The general age limit is 21-30 years for most of these exams. In some states, age limit can vary. Reserved category candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation.
