Which subject combination is required to do D.Pharma?

Can I study D.Pharma if I have completed 12th in Computer Science and Computer Science Engineering? Or, should I look for courses in Computer Science only? How is the scope and opportunities in Pharmacy?

D. Pharm. admission requirements include:
1.You must be at least 17 years of age at time of admission, and are required to complete the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or 10+2 exam in the science stream.
2.Required subjects are physics, chemistry and biology or mathematics.
Opportunities are there ,you can search jobs in foreign countries also after completion.

The minimum education required to pursue a Diploma or Degree course in Pharmacy is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as a main subject from a recognised board of education.

So, if your subject combination at Class 12th level includes PCM/PCB group combination then you are eligible to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy.

As far as you are concerned about whether to continue with courses related to computer, then being a Computer Science engineer you should continue with the same if you are enjoying it as it has quite a good scope in this technically emerging world.

D-Pharmacy stands for Diploma in Pharmacy. This is a 2 year Diploma course in Pharmacy being offered by all Pharmacy colleges.

In order to be eligible to join this course, one should have completed 10+2 with Science stream.

If you have opted for Computer Science in 10+2, then you are not eligible to join this course.

You can go for Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology in B.Tech course.

Make the decision as per your interest and opt for the respective course and make most out of it.

The entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course.

After the pharmacy one can make career as Pharmacist.
