Respected Sir, I am studying in class 10 and after completing it I wish to become an IPS officer in the future so I want to know which subject should I select in class 11th to become an IPS officer? Please answer as soon as possible.

After 10th standard, you can do 11th and 12th standard in Arts subject then you can take B.A in History to become an IPS officer.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IPS exam.

Final year candidates are eligible for IPS exam.

Age criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Selection process for IPS exam:

1)Preliminary test
2)Mains exam
3)Personal interview

You can choose any stream in which you are most interested.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service.This exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1.You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

2.Age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

3.You must be an Indian Citizen.

4.You must be physically fit.

3.Interview

I am in class 11 and have opted for science stream am I eligible for IPS exam as I have opted science.
