i am in tenth class and i want to become an ips officer so which stream shouldi optin 11th classs....

Arts would be the best option for you to become IPS......

it doesnt matter matter which stream u choose, student with any stream can apply ,they sud hv a degree.

You need to complete your graduation to appear for the IAS exam. But there is no restriction in the stream chosen. As per the eligibility criteria any graduate can appear for the exam. Also make sure you have at least 60% marks. You must start reading the newspaper and update yourself with all the current affairs areas so that you are well prepared for the exam.

To become IPS officer you will have to pass UPSC CS Examination.
So choose those subjects in 11&12th class which you are comfortable with and also continue with those subjects in graduation. This will help you to get command over the subjects which you have studied and will make your work more easier to qualify UPSC CS Exam.

The eligibility for UPSC CS Exam is i.) a graduate in any discipline, ii.) age limit 21-30 years.
So, you can take any stream in which you are most comfortable with.

As the candidate applying for the IAS exam should be graduate in any one of the following subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology.

So you can choose any stream in your XI class. But the best stream where you get more knowledge for the IAS exam and prepare your self for the IAS exam is the ARTS stream.

You can choose any stream in 11th standard to become an IPS officer because minimum eligibility for IPS UPSC exam is: -

1. Pass graduation / Bachelor’s degree in any subject or in any engineering stream or equivqlent from a recognised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

for ips you have to choose science stream beacuase after vscience stream you have many subjects option for choosing optional subjects for ips abd for your graduation.

there is no compulsion for you take a particular group for your goal..

because civils is nowhere related to subject

all you should have is

love towards your country..

some situation handling skills

some knowledge regarding past present and future politics

my suggestion is choose some groups like

social studies or pyschycology subjects

so that it will be help ful for you in your dream job..

keep on thinking which will be the best groups to opt..

in my view

social studies or pyschology will be the best

make a wise selection and decide for your future..

well it does not matter in which stream you are as everyone is eligible for IAS which has
done graduation .

but if you are confirm that you only want to do IAS then ARTS stream will be best for
you as then you can prepare from 11th only as the ARTS STREAM IS easiest of all
streams .so it mean that then you can give more time to extra activity .start study news
papers and articles from now onwards.

friend you to do architecture course your basic eligibility is passing in 12th class exam with maths physics and chemistry subjects.you can apply for B.Arch with these subjects marks. you can also write entrance exam to join in B.Arch. with your entrance score you get seats in respective colleges. but even then you need to pass in 12th class with PCM stream.
so after completing 10th class join in 11th in maths group. you can join in maths, physic, chemistry, computers/biology group in your 11th class upon completion of 12th with these subjects you can pursue architecture degree good luck

If I clear my exam and I'm general .ad seats for general are filled but I got more marks then SC student .then I will get the opportunity or not.
