Indian Navy SSR Syllabus !!

Indian Navy Conducts Senior Selection Recruitment Exam Every year for Sailors Entry.

Basically there are Four Exams for Recruitment as a Sailor in Indian Army they are

Artificer Apprentice,Senior Secondary Recruit, Direct Entry for Diploma Holders & MR/NMRs and Musicians.

This is Only for those Male candidates who has completed their 10+2 Study.

Syllabus Consists of Science, Mathematics, English and General Awareness.

Which based on 12th class Topics and its very Easy to Crack it.

For Previous year Papers:- Its Better to Prepare your self because its very Easy Exam and No where you will Find SSR previous year Papers.

SSR board doesn't allow Papers to be taken back by Candidates.

Physical Requirements for the Indian Navy Artificer Apprentices Exam:

The height of the candidate must not be less than 157 cms with proportionate body weight. Also the candidate should possess good mental and physical health and should be free from any disease/disability. Candidates should also meet the eyes visual and other standards as specified in the notification.
Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates will be called to appear in the written test. The written paper will be of 1 hour consisting of multiple choice Questions from Science, Mathematics, and English & General Knowledge.

Those short-listed in the written test will have to go for a Physical Fitness Test. In Physical Fitness Test candidate will have to run one mile (1.6 km) in 7 minutes, do 20 squats (Uthak-Baithak) and 10 push-ups.

Candidates who qualify the physical fitness test will have a further medical test to check the medical fitness of the candidates. After the candidates clear all the three stages he is finally selected.

The standard of exam is same as that of a CBSE or any state board class 12th exam. You can refer the books by Upkar prakashan to prepare for the exam.

ssr stands for senior secondry recruit , it is on 12th class level

eligibility for navy ssr is :

must be 12th passed from a recognised board
must have studied physics and maths as compulsory paper
must have minimum 70% in 12th
must be of age limit 17 t0 20 years
