Syllabus, Procedure of appearing for the Bank PO exam?
Hello, i am pursuing Bsc in Statistics from M.S.U, baroda.
My interest is entering in banking sector. I want to appear for banks po exam, after my bachelors. Kindly, please guide me with syllabus, how to appear,when to appear, its all pros&cons... I hope il get an satisfied answer. Thank You. |

Through out the year various banks publish advertishment in leading news papers.
for P.O exmination,basic qualification is graduation.and the examination paper consist of Mathemetics,General aptitude,reasoning,general knowledge,general awareness and english language skills(sometimes pressy writing). Mathematics based on 10 standard syllabus. For verbal & nonverbal follow R.S Awarwal's book.For general Knowledge and general awareness follow daily newspaper. all the best. |

HELLO,
for bank PO recruitment- eligibility- *Graduation in any stream with min.55%(aggregate),from affiliated institute or university. *Upto 25yr,age in the year of examination. ~exam pattern- *aptitude test *group test *profiling *interview as you have nov mentioned for which bank you are recruiting,for PO different banks have different exam norms for syllabus. |

Bank PO job enables a candidate for entry level recruitment in bank. A PO job in a bank is entitles a candidate for handsome salary & high promotional prospects. Eligibility: To apply for the post of PO, candidate must be at least 8 years of age. He / she must be an Indian by nationality. Must have done graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. Selection procedure & exam pattern: A candidate is selected as a Probationary Officer on the basis of written test & interview. The written test is mainly objective type. There are 200 questions of 20 marks. The questions will be on following topics - 1. English Language 2. Numerical 3. Reasoning 4. Computers |

Well friend,
Till now i have apppeared for so many bank exams. Almost all the public and private sector banks may have the same syllabus. 1.Reasoning 2.Quantitative aptitude 3.General English 4.Computer awareness 5.General awareness. You should have to qualify in all the sections individually. Negative marking will be there and mostly 1/4th. For ICICI, its not like all other banks. It will conduct written exam in online But for all other banks once you will complete your written test and qualifies, you will be called for the interview. *)You need to complete your graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate mark.
*)Final year student may appear in the exam but during selection process if he/she is unable to produce the course completion certificate then his/her candidature will be disqualified. The syllabus for the Bank PO exam consists of the following patterns. 1.Verbal & Non.verbal Reasoning 2.Quantitative aptitude 3.General English 4.Computer awareness 5.General awareness. |

Sir, i have also completely my B.SC coerces but the problem is that (i have get only 42% marks in B.sc exam.) Can i applying bank PO exam please tall me and who many s types in the bank PO exam.

Hey friend,
There are two types of jobs which you can see in banks namely Bank PO Bank clerical exam The eligibility criteria differs from bank-bank.The eligibility criteria needed for these two jobs are given below: Eligibility criteria for Bank PO: The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidates must a age limit of 21-30 years. The candidate must have got a degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate.Some bank prefer for 55% aggregate. The candidates must know about computers and must have a knowledge on how to operate MS office. Eligibility criteria for Bank Clerical: The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidate must have a age limit of 18-28 years.And relaxation age limit is there for SC/ST/OBC/PH and Ex-service men. The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate and for SC/ST/PH candidates it is 55%.It varies from bank-bank. From this you could know what job you can take and whether you are eligible for it. Thank you. |

hi im zoya..done ma graduation in BA political science honors...but im not that much knowledgable about computers..so how can i clear this exam..will it be okey if i join any coaching for this?please give me your suggestions n d best books recommended to prepare myself for this examination...
