there are 22 males & 17 female..
but only 12 people shake hands.
so two people shake hand with each other..
hence total no of hand shakes are 12c2

12!/2!(2-1)=12*11/2=66

(1/3) of a number is 3 more than the (1/6) of the same number?

x/2-x/6=3
2x=18
x=9 ans
