Is CET exam compulsorily required for pursuing D-Pharm? Or, is there any other entrance exam as well? Is yes, please tell the details of those exams.

D.Pharm is diploma level course in pharmacy. CET is not compulsory for admission to D.Pharm course. In most states, state level CET (common entrance test) is conducted for admission to D.Pharm. Also some universities offer D.Pharm direct admission based on merit.

Eligibility for D.Pharm
You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with PCB subjects from a recognized institute.

- Last Date of Application : February/March, 2023
- D.Pharm Entrance : May to September, 2023
- Result Declaration : July to November, 2023

Yes, you have to appear for the polytechnic entrance exam conducted by the state technical authority in most states. There are some universities too that offer D.Pharma through their entrance exam. You just need to apply for such entrance exams when there is a notification.

For D.Pharma you need class 12th with PCB or PCM from a recognized board of education with at least 50% marks. Admission will be on merit based on the rank of the entrance exam. You can also get management quota seats in private colleges if you don't have a good rank.
