I m nisha from patna , i come in sc category. I have secure 56% in 12th(maths) and 70% in BCA. sir am i eligible for NIMCET entrance exam.
Is there any NIMCET entrance exam center in PATNA

The Eligibility for NIMCET is-:

Candidate must be an Indian with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in-:

(i) 12th level with Mathematics and

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree With any one of the following subjects-:

Mathematics
Statistics
Business Mathematics
Discrete Mathematics
Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
Business Statistics
Computational Mathematics
Elementary Mathematics
Elementary Statistics.

So,Nisha as you belong to the SC category you will be eligible (if you match the other above mentioned eligibility criteria).
There was NIMCET centre in Patna last year with the centre code 22.
So,hopefully this year too it will be there.

No i dont think patna is a centre for nimcet entrance exam . Plese see in the prospectus/bronchules for exam centre available

The general eligibility to write NIMCET is the same for all NITs.
the eligibility criteria is different for different institutes.

the common criteria is a graduate.

and yes entrance exam is there in patna.

As you belong from SC category so you are eligible for NIMCET exam, but you have to submit attested caste certificate on the time of applying.In patna there is no any test center of NIMCET. In,Kolkata there is center of NIMCET which is nearer to PATNA. You can give center at Kolkata.

The eligibility for this exam is 55%for SC/ST/PH and 60% for others in +2 and degree level.
So you can judge your self whether your eligible or not.
