I am serving person in Indian Army and I have completed my 17 years of service and now I am 38 years and will be retiring soon. My qualifications is 10+2 Medical stream. Will I be eligible to apply for the post of SI in Uttar Pradesh Police?

There is relaxation in age limit for the ex-serviceman but not in the educational qualification.

The required minimum educational qualification to appear for SI examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination. Candidates have to appear and qualify in written and physical stages of the examination for the final selection.
