Hi, I retired recently and I am from Uttar Pradesh. I wants to write the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UP-PSC) examination. So, I wanted to know whether there is any reservation or not for Ex-Servicemen in PSC? Or, any relaxation?

Yes there is provision for reservation benefits for the ex-serviceman quota candidates in UP PSC examination.
The reservation benefit will be applicable to dependents of the freedom fighters includes :

**Only daughters, sons, grandsons (Son’s son/Daughter’s son) and granddaughters (son’s daughter/daughter’s daughter, married/ unmarried) are covered.

The candidate must obtain the reservation certificate from the District Magistrate in the prescribed format and submit the same to avail the benefit.
