I got admission in b.sc( hons)geology at aligarh muslim university.pl specify career after this course.is there any scope for govt. Job what salary package may be offer. M y masood

If you are interested in the government job which favour your subject also then why not you try in the GEOLOGIST'S EXAM conducted by UPSC.

yes doing bsc and msc in geology is benificial.mineral resources in our country India are very abundant.so chances of a big carrier is fare.private companies would opt you as geologist in their industries.starting salary in such private sectors is from 18500-25000.rest you will have to increase your salary by your self experiences.
