B.Tech Biotechnology is a upcoming branch in India.
For government colleges you need to clear AIEEE and IIT Entrance Tests.
I Hope you are already acquinted with the knowledge of these so called Famed Insti's.

Minimum Qualifications: Min. of 60% in your 12th.

Personal Opinon:

• Better Go for integrated course, (saves time mostly).
• Biotech is generally not much preferred because of many tiresome factors, especially the not so engaging packages.
• So, its always better that you have a "plan-B" ready, you see; I mean better go for some higher degree, and try overseas, if you really want to Fare Well.

It depend on the experience & the industry you are in...
Bio-Technology has very less scope in India since Govt. is not putting up money in this sector for research and development. If you are extremely good and extraordinary then you may have a chance.
