What is the total number of Mbbs seats in Kerala for the year 2016? I searched everywhere but did not found, but my friend told if I have patience I can get answer here. So, please tell me.

MBBS is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The duration of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course is Five and half years. For this course candidate must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and biology subjects from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course is 50% in 12th class. The minimum age of candidate must be 17 years and not be greater than 25 years.

Total number of MBBS seats in Kerala for the year 2016 are given below.

=> In Government college = 1000

=> In private college = 1850

=> Total = 2850

The selection in the MBBS program in Kerala is done on the basis of KEAM Medical exam.

According to Medical Council of India (MCI) the total no of seats in kerala is: total 2800
