Total number of questions in JEE Main 2016
Hello sir/madam, can you please tell me how many questions will be going to ask in jee mains 2016 in each subject (chapterwise)?

Total number of questions in JEE main are 90.
Maximum marks = 360 Marks for correct answer= +4 Marks for incorrect answer= -1 Paper is divided in two sections 1. Physics,chemistry, mathematics 2.Aptitude,drawing,physics ,chemistry, maths You have to appear equally for each chapter because there is no distribution of marks. Examiner sometimes leave one or more chapter. So build your concepts strong in each chapter. |

JEE stands for the Joint Entrance examination conducted in the two stages as the Mains and the Advance. The candidates after qualifyng in the Mains examination are eligible to appear for the Advance examination to get the admission in the IIT.
The Mains examination is conducted every year in the month of April. The examination consist of the question of the Mathematics, Physics and the Chemistry. There are total 90 questions in the examination in the 3 hour duration. The total maximum marks for the examination is 360 for 90 questions in which there are 30 from each of the subject. JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and the same examination is held by Central Board of Secondary Education for the selection of deserving candidates for their bachelor of technology/engineering/architecture from top government or private engineering colleges.
The same examination is organized in two stages which are called as JEE Mains and JEE Advance respectively. The qualifications required for appearing in the JEE Mains are as given below :- You must be an Indian citizen with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. You must have a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 60% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education. Also for appearing in the JEE Advance you need to clear the JEE Mains along with as much percentage aggregate in your board examination that keeps you within top 20 percentile students of your respective 12th board examination. In the JEE Mains 90 questions each of 4 marks are asked. All the questions are of Multiple Choice Questions type. Out of 90 questions, 30 questions are of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each.
