A few colleges that offer M.Sc in Genetics are Bharathiar University, Barkatullah University, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Ganga Kaveri Institute of Science & Management, Devi Ahilya University, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya, J.J College of Arts and Science, Institute of Biosciences and Technology, etc. To pursue the course, you must have done B.Sc in Genetics, Zoology, Biochemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or Biomedical science from a recognized university. The percentage criteria are different for different universities. Most of the colleges and universities conduct entrance exam for selecting eligible candidates to the course. The duration of the course is 2 years.
