Wat will be the pattern of this year's XAt paper? will there be General Awareness section too or will the pattern be similar to last year's paper?
Also how to go about preparing for the General Awareness section in case there are chances of coming?....... Pls guide......

the XAT pattern is similar to any other MBA exam ,in addition there will be a general questions and an essay to write to,which will be based on current hot topics,

the general awareness questions are based on nemes of directors of differrent countries ,questions based on growth of economy of different countries,taglines and abrandabassdors of different companies,just read the newsa papers regularly

question paper have mainly four categories
maths
verbal
analytical reasoning
data intrepretation
its of 2 hours and 60 questions r asked
after that an essay in 20 minitues

XAT 2010 exam is of 140 minutes and consists of 200 objective type questions and an essay of 250-300 words. Objective questions are asked from the sections:
English-80 questions,
Reasoning and Quantitative Ability-60 questions,
General Awareness-60 questions.

this years xat exam was the toughest mba exam this year and there was no general awareness questions

the xat paper consists of three sections with each section having approximately 35 questions,the exam is of two hours and then there is an essay writing test for 20 minutes

One section is Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability questions. Another section is Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Data Interpretation questions and the Third section is General Awareness Questions.

dont worry there is no chance of including general awareness in the syllabus of xat exam
the syllabus generally the same as compared to other mba exam
the paper mainly consist of thefollwing topics
1 analytical reasoning
2 maths
3 mathematical apptitude
4 data interpretation
all the question will be in the form of multiple question

it is nearly similar to CAT only writing of essay on hot topics will be new
and the paper includes
