VIT University is a university of national repute. The University offers two full time management programmes. The first one is MBA and the second is MBA (International Business). Both the programs are two year full time programs. The selection process of the institute is described below.

First of all there is a screening test. VIT uses the score in CAT/XAT/MAT for screening purpose. Also the eligibility criteria of the institute include an aggregate of 60% marks throughout in the bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. For smooth admission the academic records should be consistent and managerial work experiences are considered to be advantageous.

In the next stage candidates are shortlisted on the basis of scores in the above-said exams. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. The GD and PI are conducted in many major cities of the country.

Candidates are required to apply for the university separately. The application forms are available at the Vellore office of University and at the administrative office of the University at Chennai.

VIT uses CAT/XAT/MAT scores only for the screening purpose and IIMs or any other institute have no role in the admission procedure of the university or in the content and conduct of the management programme.
