i am a student of 6th sem Electronics and Communication.
sir can you please mail me gate paper weightage on different topics from previous years quesion papers .

It is vary hard to say which paper/topic is most important and contain more questions in GATE.Because it is the examination where authority judge the pure knowledge.

I heard from my Professor that,for a GATE paper (Like ECE or Civil engineering or Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering) there is 10 top class paper setters and One head examiner for set a GATE paper.So how can you predict which got weightage?

I suggest you complete your syllabus and be confident in exam.

Well friend,

You are in 6th semester of your Engineering its the right time you can give Give Exam.

Because All Syllabus covered by Gate having ECE Pattern would have done by 6 semester.

Dont worry !!! and you are asking about Weightage ie. % of ECE questions asked in Paper, They are 100% because Its a paper with Lots of optional subjects like EC , CS etc.

A computer Science Engineer student choose CS code for the Gate Paper and A ECE student chooses EC code for the same. and It is having Full Syllabus from ECE background

Syllabus consists of questions mostly from 4th semester and 5th semester.

is the paper of ec and of cs is different

if last yrs gate score and this yrs gate score r same thn , is there any diff in this tow?? and which will get the higher priority??????

I dont know weightage of each subject of ece branch for gate.please tell me sir.
