I wanted to pursue a graduate level degree course in Economics from Delhi University. Which course is available? What is the admission criteria and application procedure? Is there any entrance requirement? If yes, then please share the details?

The first thing I would like to let you know is that University of Delhi (DU) does not offer Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics rather it offers admission in B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) Hons. degree course with Economics as main subject.

Further, admission in B.A.(Hons.) in Economics degree course is merit based and therefore admission is based on the marks secured by the candidate in their Class 12th board examination.

For admission to the same degree course, you are required to have completed your Class 12th with Mathematics as a main subject and an overall aggregate of 60% in best four subject combination (as per the university rules) your Class 12th board examination from a recognised board of education.

There is no entrance examination conducted for admission in Delhi University.

Admission is based on percentage of marks in 12th board examination. The qualification for B.Sc Economics honors is that you must have done 12th from a recognized board with Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Higher is the percentage of marks in 12th board exam better is chance of getting admission in good colleges of Delhi University.
