I wanted to do b.sc honours in chemistry/maths from delhi university.plz tel that what is the eligibility for this?

Delhi University offers B.Sc Honors in many streams. The eligibility for B.Sc Honors in Maths or Chemistry from Delhi University is to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying 10 +2 exam. The candidates should have completed the course from any recognized university or board. The admission is based on the marks obtained on qualifying exam. The cut off marks varies from year to year. The University of Delhi is a central university situated in Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Minimum percentage of marks required in any of the examinations recognised by the University of Delhi is :

For admission to B. Sc. (Hons.) Physics/Chemistry
*55% marks in the aggregate of three subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
*Passing in one compulsory language (i.e.English).

For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Course in Mathematics
*50% marks in Mathematics and 45% marks in the aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects (out of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Engineering Drawing, Geography, Computer Science, Economics and Home Science).

Delhi University is among the top University in India.

For admission in Delhi University you have pass 12th with minimum 8% marks in 12th class.
For B.Sc you have to pass 12th with Physic, Chemistry, Biology or Maths.

Your admission on the basis of 12th class percentage.

Delhi University is the central University of North India.You will get Central University degree after getting pass from this university.B.SC(Bachelor in Science) is a 3 year's degree course.This course will be in Regular mode.

Eligibility requirements for B.Sc

Academic qualification :-

1. Your educational qualification should be Inter pass out from recognized university/board.
2. You should not have more then 1 year of study gap.

NOTE :-

• Total number of seats for this course will be 60.
• There will be reservation of seats for taking admission in this course.
• 85% seats will be reserved for the candidates of Delhi residential.
• 15% seats will be reserved for the candidates who belong from the outside the Delhi state.

Marks :-

• Candidates who belong from the state of Delhi will require a minimum of 80% in Inter.
• Candidates who are from outside state will require minimum marks of 85%.
• Reserved category candidates of Delhi state will require only 70% for taking admission in this course.
