What is the admission criteria through UPTU entrance exam? What rank is required to get into those institutes?

i just want to know abt the admission criteria through UPTU entrance exams.
which rank do they consider during allocation of institutes?
i mean students get institutes on the basis of general ranking or ranking under different quotas??

Dear friend
If you complete 10+2 or appearing you can give exam through uptu.It held two time in a year. Its syllabus is - physics,chemistry,math
you want to read NCERT book of 11 and 10+2,
your ranks must under in near about 4500 for government college
