I have got 13970(general) in uptu entrance exam for b tech so what are the possibilities of getting a govt college through uptu .i comes under the category of opgl.also my opgl rank is 2033.

Hey honestly speaking I dont think you can My rank is 12300 I am also opgl category even I cant get one but you can get a good private college except JSS

I am sorry govt. colleges will not be possible for you but there are still options for good private colleges like in Raj Kumar Goel Inst. of Technology, ghaziabad you can get Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology. EC is currently the best field I can look fro more options for you if you are interested in private colleges

Friend you should first give the naes of the govt colleges during your counselling and if seats are not filled you will definately get any of the govt. college. It only depends on the availability of seats. SOme best govt colleges are HBTI kanpur, MMM College Gorakhpur, etc.

Here are your options

You may get Electrical Engineering in Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology ,Jhansi or in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology ,Sultanpur you may get Civil Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

I am giving these options because last year there were many seats for AF category in these colleges ( and your rank as per AF quota suits these) otherwise there are only 1 or 2 seats reserved. You may get any good college through your AF quota but since there arent many seats reserved for it, it is unpredicatble to tell which college and which branch

Look the fees structure in government colleges is very low as compared to private one's. But to get admission in govt colege you need to have sufficiently high rank.
It varies from college to college.
Like the fees in MMM college is very less.

you are having very good rank. Since there are only 5 government colleges in uptu, i think that maybe you will not get trade of your choice. Otherwise, you will surely get admission in government college. You must fill all the trades in the counseling. May be you will get your desired trade.

Since you havent mentioned your category I am giving the info of general open seats
I think for Institute of Engineering & Technology you need under 20 while MMM may accept arund 100 but bundelkhand can accpt around rank 250
