What is the age eligibility criteria followed for CBSE board admission?
My daughter is born on 13.01.2012. She is in ukg right now will she b able to go in first Std next yr. Cbse board. Would there b any problem of age when she reaches 10th Std in case? Where to get the right details on the same? Awaiting for the response.

The age criteria followed for offering admission in LKG in CBSE Board is 3 1/2 years. To get admission in first standard in CBSE Board, the child should have attained minimum age of 5 1/2 years.
As per the information you have mentioned in our query, your daughter is born on 13.01.2012, at present she is 4 years 5 months old being a UKG student, so, she is eligible to appear in 10th standard CBSE Board examinations without any age problem. |
