Hi, what is the minimum and maximum age band to be eligible to write the Indian Engineering Services (IES) entrance examination? My data of birth is 26th December, 2000. Am I eligible to write the entrance in 2020 or 2021 exam session?

The age limit to apply for IES (Indian Engineering Services) examination is 21 years to 30 years by the 1st January of year of examination. Further, there is provision of upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government norms.

So, being born on 26.12.2000, you will not be eligible for appearing either in IES 2020 or IES 2021 examination but you can appear in IES examinations held in 2022 and later on.
