Your Engineering degree in :-

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering

Any age limit for writing Indian Engineering services Exam?

Yes.There is a some age limits for this examination.

Your age should be between 21 year and 30 years as on august 1st of the year of examination.

Upper relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

Five years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Three years relaxation for OBC candidates.

How to Apply for the Exam?

You can apply for this examination in two ways : 1)Online 2)Offline

Online : candidates may apply online using the website : www.upsconline.nic.in

Offline : The application forms are available in various designated post offices through out the country.

This year examination was already completed.Next year examination details are already updated in the official website.

Yes there is an age limit to appear for the exam. Any candidate who is over 30 years will not be eligible to apply. The next exam is scheduled for 3rd December. The application form for the same is available only till 29th August. You can apply for the same either online or by purchasing the same from the designated post office. You can visit the UPSC site for the details.

IES Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications :

Degree in :
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent degree from recognized universities.

• M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.
• Students of final year Engineering or equivalent degree are also eligible.

so there is no percentage is required only pass out of final student are enough..

Age Limits :

Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years

This year notification has over and its notification come in employments newspaper...

Yes , mechanical department are eligible for IES exam.

Eligibility Criteria for IES:

Age limit:*

Age must be more than 21 years and less than 30 years. The upper age relaxation for SC, ST, Government servants is 5 years; for OBC is 3 years and for physically challenged is 10 years.

Educational qualification:*

IES is eligible for given below department of engineering.

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Nationality:*

The applicant must be citizen of India, subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, Indian origin who have migrated from selected countries in order to settle in India permanently.

Attempts:

For General - 4 times
For SC/ST - No limit
For OBC - 7 tines

The age limit is 21 to 30years for all indian service exams. Then you apply union public service commission exams. The notifications in the employment news and the news papers. All the best

• Indian Administrative Services exam - Civil Services Exam - Through UPSC
• Indian Engineering Services Exam - Through UPSC
• Indian Forest Services Exam - Through UPSC

Eligibility for civil services exam
•-> Graduation degree from any recognized university.
•-> Age limit - 21 to 30 years (5 year age relaxation to SC/ST and 3 year age relaxation to OBC Candidates)
• -> No percentage bar.
•-> Must be a native of india.

Eligibility for IES
•-> 4 year graduation degree in engineering.
•-> Age limit - 21 to 30 (5 year age relaxation to SC/ST and 3 year age relaxation to OBC Candidates).
•-> No percentage criteria.

Eligibility for IFS
•-> Graduation degree in botany, environmental and environmental engineering.
•-> Age limit - 21 to 30 (5 year age relaxation to SC/ST and 3 year age relaxation to OBC Candidates).

Notification for IES exam is not yet released. Wait till the official announcement from UPSC

IES(India Engineering Service) is one of the reputed examination,and very prestigious also.
This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Secvice Commission) once a year and the criterion is :
1)Candidate must be an Engineer from any of the below branch--
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering

Dear friend you can apply for IES but not in this year,because exam has over now you have to wait for the next year.

IES is a civil service xam, which is conducted by UPSc every year..
Eligibility for IES exam:-

Educational qualification:-

1.The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering..
2.The candidate should not have any due backlogs during the graduation..

Age limit:
The age of the candidate should be in between 21-30years..
For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years, and for OBC the age relaxation is 3years..
The candidate must be a citizen of India.

as you have done your bachelor degree in mechanical engineering then you are definitely eligible for IES exam..
