Default Re: What the course after 12th Science Biology in Genetic Engineering?

Genetic engineering presents endless possibilities before us. And it's growing. Ridiculously fast.

Genetic engineering makes alterations in the DNA to create completely different organisms. Or studies the functions of genes. The first organism that was genetically modified was a bacteria resistant to the antibiotic kanamyein, followed by a mouse.

This was back in 1973. If we look at the rate at which genetic engineering has progressed and is progressing, there will be a time when engineers mutate human genes. If genetic engineers can work on bacterial DNA, human DNA can be tampered with too, making us immune to diseases and extreme weather conditions. This way, a human race will be created that can withstand high global temperatures and adverse climatic conditions. But that's just me being hopeful.

If this goes well, then humans may not perish from the world for a long time, and genetic engineering will be to thank.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
