Bachelor degree holders in any stream are eligible for IAS. Selecting any particular stream will not help to clear IAS exam. Anyhow selecting courses in history or arts will be useful for prelims exam. Questions on mental ability, Indian polity, history, geography, etc are asked for prelims exam. Exam preparations can be made through self study mode or through coaching centers.

you have to do grauation for minimum requirement to be ias,

if you have completed your 12th standard then you can go for engineering or bsc or what you aspire

or if you are from commerce then you can go for bcom, bba, bbs, ca, cs etc, after your graduation you can applyu for ias

,for ias minimum educational requirement is graduation in any stream
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
