What is the criteria to apply for IIT JAM Chemistry branch?


I have get 50% mark in Chemistry and overall 58% in B.Sc Chemistry. Can I apply for IIT JAM for Chemistry branch? If yes, then let me know about the last date of submitting our application form.

Candidates who have scored atleast 55% in graduation (all over) are eligible for IIT JAM . JAM2020 last date of application is 8th October 2019. The official website of of IIT JAM is jam.iitk.ac.in .

For GENERAL & OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates:
min. 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 out of 10, without rounding off, in qualifying degree.


For SC/ST/PwD Candidates:
min. 50% aggregate marks or 5.0 out of 10 without rounding off, in qualifying degree.


Eligibility Criteria for CCMN


Candidates can also get the admission in NITs after qualifying JAM Exam.

Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks (Gen/EWS/OBC) or 55% aggregate marks (SC, ST, PwD) in the qualifying degree for CCMN Counseling Process.

The Application form comes every year in the month of September.

Eligibility Criteria:-

:-Candidate must passed 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50-60%Mark's.

:candidate must passed Graduation with minimum of 55%Mark's (OBC) and 50% Mark's for SC/ST.

:-No upper age restriction.
