on the basis of which criteria i will get admission in aerospace engineering?

Aerospace Engineering is a very excited field of Engineering. Aerospace Engineering deals in designing flying objects that can pass through the atmosphere of the Earth into Space. Today there is very good scope in the Aerospace Engineering.


Some examples of what Aerospace engnieers design and plan are satellites, space shuttles, rocket ship and missiles. Once you have completed the Aerospace Engineering course, you can work for organizations like ISRO which is responsible for the entire space mission of India. ISRO sends rockets and satellites into space.


The other good option would be DRDO. You can help the organization in development in missile technology which is used for defence purpose. Currently DRDO is working on various missiles like Agni, Prithvi, Dhanush, Brahmos, Trishool etc.


The process of admission for Aerospace Engineering is same like any other engineering course. You will have to appear for the engineering entranc exams. In case you don't know, the government has scrapped IIT-JEE and AIEEE entrace exams from 2013. These two exams would be replaced by a news exam called ISEET.



Eligibility for ISEET

1. Must pass Class 12th with PCM as the subjects.

2. At least 40 percent marks in 12th board.


In case you have completed diploma in Aerospac Engineering then you will get admsision for B.Tech. Candidates having completed diploma course in the following branches of Engineering can also seek direct admission through lateral entry for Aerospace Engineering.

The candidate should complete the 12th standard from any recognized university.

The candidate pass the intermediate with minimum 40% to eligible this exam.

The candidate do the diploma in Aerospace engineering are also eligible to do the aerospace engineering in b.tech. These candidates are directly admission for the b.tech aerospace engineering.
