Gujarat Public Service Commission conducts Class I and II officers for various posts.These posts are for :-

• Deputy Superindent of Police.
• District Registrar.
• Mamlatdar.
• Section Officer.
• Labour Officer.
• District Revenue Officer.
• Taluka Development Officer.

Eligibility requirements

Educational qualification :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be Graduation pass out in any discipline from recognized university.

Age requirement :

• Your minimum age should be 21 years.
• Your age should not be above 28 years.

Age Relaxations :

• Five years of age relaxations will be given to SC/ST and to Socially and economically Backward Classes of Gujarat Origin Candidates.
• Women candidates who belong from the reserved category ill get 10 years of age relaxations.
• Physically disabled candidates will get 10 years of age relaxations.

Examination Process and Pattern

• This exam will be conducted in three phases.
• Phase I - It will be Preliminary Exam and it will be of Objective type.
• Phase II - It will be Mains Exam and it will be of Written type.
• Phase III - Personality test and Interview.

Preliminary Exam pattern and Syllabus details :

• This exam will include two sets and each set will be of 2 hours.
• Set I will be of 150 marks.
• Set II will be of 200 marks.
• Set I - General studies.
• Set II - List of Optional subjects which will be provided.

Mains Exam Pattern and Syllabus details :

• This exam will include five papers.
• Each paper will be of 200 marks.
• Each paper will be of 2 hours .
• Paper I - Gujarati Language.
• Paper II - English Language.
• Paper III - General studies.
• Paper IV and V - Two subjects from the list of optional subjects provided.
