What are the different posts or jobs available in bank and what is the minimum qualification for each of those posts? Will there be any entrance exam for those posts?

Some of the posts available in bank are as follows:-
Clerk
PO
Manager
Assistant Manager
General Manager
Cashier

Following grades are available in most of the banks.

• E1 for Assistant Manager
• E2 for Deputy Manager
• E3 for Manager
• E4 for Senior Manager
• D1 for Assistant Vice President
• D2 for DVP
• D3 for Vice President/MD

Each post have different sort of qualification required for recruitment. However, if you are going to pursue Bank job, then it is expected that you are coming from Commerce Background (like B.Com/BBA graduates). In fact, commerce background candidates can easily understand the working procedure in banks. So, HRs consider Commerce graduates for recruitment.

For filling of posts, written test and Personal Interview is conducted.

Candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for the bank PO or Clerk entrance examination.

The examination for recruitment is conducted by IBPS, SBI and other private banks. Candidates have to qualify in all stages for final recruitment.

The age limit varies with examination. So, if you have passed bachelor degree then you are eligible to appear in the examination.
