What to do after 12th to get jobs in banking sector?


I have been forced to take up Science and Computer by my parents in place of Commerce and Economics. I am not at all fond of computers. What should I do after 12th and what bank jobs are open for me?

There are no job opportunities in the banking jobs on 12th qualification.

The eligibility to appear in the examination for recruitment in banking jobs is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit to appear in examination varies with examination.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree course to become eligible to appear in the banking recruitment examination.

For appearing for the banking recruitment examination, there is no limitation on discipline of the bachelor degree. So, you can pursue any course in bachelor degree.

After 12th standard, you are eligible for clerical job in bank for which you have to crack its exam conducted by State Bank of India(SBI).
The Eligible Candidate being an Indian national having completed 12th standard in any steam with 60% marks from a recognised board within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidates with good command over computer operation, can apply for SBI clerical exam.
The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview.

Let me tell you that there are very less job opportunities in banking sector after passing 10 + 2 because most of the banking exams are conducted on the basis of graduation. I would like to suggest you to pursue graduation in any discipline in which you are interested if you want to apply for bank jobs.

Eligibility criteria for banking jobs are as under:-
Candidate must be a holder of graduation degree with a recognised University in any discipline.
Candidate age must be at least 21 years and not more than 30 years.
You should first of all complete your graduation degree exams are conducted by SBI and IBPS every year.

To get in banking jobs, you have to appear and qualify in the entrance examination conducted for the recruitment in the same.

The minimum eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university in any discipline. The age limit varies for the clerk and PO for different examination.

There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to qualify in all of them for the final selection.
